onderzoek\n\n        <\/h2>\n    \n    \n    <\/section>\n\n\n\n<p>Een groot voordeel van penetrant onderzoek is dat het materiaal eenvoudig volledig te onderzoeken is, door het onder te dompelen. Daarnaast kan elk metalen oppervlakte onderzocht worden, zolang het maar glad is. Zo kun je toch oppervlaktedefecten onderzoeken, ook als het metaal niet-magnetiseerbaar is. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Door te werken met een vloeistof die oplicht onder uv-licht, kunnen we defecten met een grootte van slechts 0.1 millimeter vinden. Het materiaal kan ook volledig ondergedompeld worden. De vloeistof loopt in defecten die een directe verbinding hebben met het oppervlakte. Overtollige vloeistof wordt verwijderd, en na de <em>process time<\/em> gebruiken we een zogenaamde \u2018ontwikkelaar\u2019 om de vloeistof uit eventuele defecten te trekken.
